Today we're going to review the Lippert Replacement Touchscreen Remote with Charger for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System. This part right here will replace the remote that came with your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel Leveling System. We do sell that system separately on our website here. It's Part Number LC358590. This features a convenient leveling app that will let you operate your system and it easily syncs to your Ground Control 3.0 touchpad. The touchscreen right here provides easy navigation. It gives you a 50' maximum operating distance, which will let you level your rig from afar.
It does use a lithium ion battery, which will provide long-lasting power and a wall-charger is included with this. This part is made in the USA. As you can see, I just pushed it to turn it on and then if you just hold that silver button down for a few seconds, it'll turn it off. Your charger right here is made to plug right into the very bottom just like that. Plug it into the wall to recharge it.
Once it's recharged, you're all ready to go. That should do it for the review of the Lippert Replacement Touchscreen Remote with Charger for the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System.

The remote worked fine for my leveling system and took just a short time to configure it. Etrailer may want to ship this product with a operating manual in the future, but it gives me something to play with. Thanks!
I received the package very well protected/wrapped. E-trailer was excellent in helping me. I would have requested UPS or FEDEX to have it shipped as the United States postal service is a joke. The item sat in their facility for 4 business days in Utah before shipping and then it took another 3 days for me to get what i ordered, and now the postal service is wanting to increase their prices for their horrible service, give me a break. This is NOT a negative reflection on etrailer. Next time i will request and pay the extra for shipping. When i got the item it was charged enough that i was able to use it right out of the box. I had it synced in less than a minute and was in business. The remote works very well. It will come in very handy when hooking up to the camper as i’ll he able to raise and/or lower the camper without getting out of the truck. It also came in really handy to be right at the landing gear to get the dunnage/pads squared up under the landing gear, im kinda OCD about that. Im very happy with this purchase and very happy with etrailer Thanks etrailer!!!!
Haven't had a chance to try it yet so I hope it works but a bit disappointed there were no instructions no nothing. Or at least a link to something.

It works but it was a pain to get setup. I spent a tremendous amount of time with marginal luck. Finally called lippert once I got someone we got it resolved but I would have never got it without the call. The instructions didnt didnt cover the landing gear properly, not even close, and it required a code that only they could give me. I have the the functions out of order and need to reconfigure it but I have been dreading it. The tech once I got them on the phone was a great help and very patient he spent a good hour with me. He admitted they needed to rework the instructions but without the code it would be a mute point without support. The product is an exact replacement for what I had and works well.

Remote works well with my 2012 Forest River trailer, I had to program it several times because the functions were wrong. If you can remember in what order the functions were in on your old remote and program them in that order it will help greatly. Overall, I'm very pleased with this remote.

Still working great after a year!
One of the best additions to our 5th wheel yet! I added these myself and it was not too hard, but I do have the proper tools. One install issue was around the pushout where I had to modify a bracket(see photos) We did a coast to coast and stayed in a LOT of places. These jacks worked very well as long as I got reasonably level side to side first. A few inches out is fine so most spots were a breeze, a few I needed to be on blocks so the tires did not come off the ground. The phone app is great to see initial level from the drivers seat, but I did most final leveling from the control pad. Overall great product and I recommend them especially if you are setting and breaking camp a lot.
Product comes with no Instrutions, but once we figured how to pair controller to RV it works as designed. Had to do research on the internet. The Keystone site gave us step by step instructions along with the pin number needed to pair. Lippert needs to improve the design to have a replaceable battery. Giving it 3 stars because it doesn't have a replaceable battery
We were wondering if this remote would work with our 2018 Grand Design. It does, even without an antenna wire hanging from the control module. Thank you to etrailer tech support for helping us out. Great place to buy. We’ll be back.
Received the remote all wrapped in bubble bags. Being a replacement it came with no instructions for configurating the remote to the touchpad. Not a problem because they were on line. I wasn’t replacing a remote but adding one since my 5th wheel came without the remote but did have a wireless controller. Took 10 minutes to learn how to confrigure and pair with touch pad. Now I can operate my 4point ground control without bending down to and lean into the basement. Thanks etrailer.

This products been a life saver. I failed to mention that the folks at etrailer were way more helpful in answering questions than Lippert’s “tech line” were.
The LC358601, Remote Ground Control Leveling System has become very convent while I am standing at the bed of my truck zeroing in the king pin to the 5th wheel hitch. Good purchase and well made product.

It works. Need the password to get into the channel select when programming the board. Was not supplied with shipment.
This remote works great. I use it when hitchup the 5th wheel trailer and the pin is either too high or two low.

Love the remote but etrailer failed to include any instructions as to how to pair it to my system. On OEM, you look for a black button the the receiver. For aftermarket you pair it through the touchpad. I disassembled the receiver looking for the black button and finding none, decided to do more research. It would have been so easy for etrailer to include pairing instructions.

Because Lippert provides pairing instructions for the remote in the original ground control system owners manual, Im guessing they assume the customer will already have them and therefore they dont provide an additional copy. If you go to the product page for the # LC675817 and click on the install details link, you will find the pairing instructions on page 19 of the instructions.

I installed the Lippert Ground Control replacement remote over a year ago, and It has proven to perform as well as the original manufacturers equipment. The installation and programming was fairly simple, once the main controls module was found and accessed in my unit. It controls all five functions of the original remote, and has room to add on should I want to add more remote features to my RV.
I would have given this product a full five stars had instructions accompanied the unit and I did not have to research the net to find them.
That being said, it wouldn’t be fair not to give eTrailer full marks on delivery and all other aspects of customer service.
The system is not what was advertised, it's better, at least for me. Everything arrived on a pallet in excellent condition, except for the advertised remote. I contacted etrailer and they put a replacement on order which I received a few days later. In the meantime, I tried to place the controller in the mode to sync the remote and see if the remote I had with my RV would sync, but I could not get the controller in that mode to accept a remote. Upon reading the controller label, I noticed it said BT and had a passcode on the side of it, so I downloaded the app and it connected to my phone. It seems the LCI Linc remote is obsolete for my Ground Control 3.0 and it is now using the phone app. Everything seems to work as expected; I'm excited to try everything out this weekend on our first outing. I was able to push a fiberglass push stick from the front basement to where the rear jacks are located without dropping the underbelly and pull all the required cables to the rear of the camper and utilize existing frame holes to bring the connectors out to the rear jacks. I think this will be a nice upgrade to our fifth wheel after our factory landing gear failed.
The entire Lieppert self leveling system is great! Part of that is the hand held control.I had very helpful and accurate support. The only frustration I have had was self induced by not starting with the trailer on a level enough pad to begin the leveling process. Everything requires a certain set of parameters to work. If your fore and aft bubbles are against the side of the glass, you are not going to get the automatic leveling system to bring it dead flat.
Our 2019 Grand Design 303RLS came with the Lippert Auto Leveling system. Unfortunately the control panel is located in a side compartment. When I park our RV in our side yard this side compartment is inaccessible.
The remote is easy to setup and and use. It makes hooking up and detaching our 5th Wheel very easy as I can raiser or lower the RV from inside the Tow Vehicle. I'd recommend this even if the controls were accessible when our RV is parked.
This remote synced very easily and does the job perfectly. I park my trailer in a very narrow barn with limited space. So limited I cannot even open the side doors. With this remote control I can operate my jacks from inside the truck to load and unload the trailer. I love it.
The unit it self. Excellent they advertise for 5th wheel 3.0 landing and leveling systems. however this will work with any unit that has the 3.0 system even Hydraulic systems that use 3.0. The biggest headache I had was finding the instructions for programming it to an existing system. They DO NOT include any instructions or manuals. To save you time search LCI (Lippert) for document T-135 and or T-205. The only thing still unclear is the fuse assignment the instructions listed say to refer to OEM installation. Although the unit works as an excellent replacement for the Thor Rapid Camp remote I give it a 5 star rating the lack of instructions or manual I deducted 2 stars
I received one of these remotes with my new RV last July. I fell out of my pocket and cracked the crystal display screen....it was toast. I went on line to purchase another one and found it on eTrailer.com with the best price. Their response to my order was very quick and I received my new remote in just a few days-as promised. I have programmed it and synced it to the master controller and now am back in business.
I will definitely go back to eTrailer.com for my future needs on my 5th Wheel RV.

Continues to work properly after one year. But the best part is still the customerservice!!!
I have a fully enclosed garage to park my trailer, it is only 12 feet wide and to gain access to the trailer when inside it must be very close on the left side not allowing me access to the jack control panel and therefore unable to disconnect from the truck. The remote has solved this problem and allows me to disconnect now. The only bad thing I would mention and this is on Lippert is they do not provide any instructions on how to sync this to the controller and there are several different instructions on line, I was able to find the correct ones and got it to work. etrailers service was great.
My wife found out about this while looking for something else. We ordered to see if it would make it easier to raise/lower the 5th wheel. Just tried it out today and it worked perfectly. If you have a 5th wheel and the leveler control is in the basement you need this. Always hard to stick your head in the basement and see If the jacks are going up or down. Very easy to program. It does not come with a manual but we used the RVPROJECTS web site and found easy instructions. Highly recommended. Ordered on Saturday, got the email that it had been shipped on Monday and got it on Thursday. Great service, great product.
